Question Connection Problem

Hi

When I click on the Explorer logo the pc used to dial up and connect to the net instantly, now it doesnt, just brings up a blank web browser, and doesnt even attempt to dial up, looking in Network Connections the icon for the broadband conx, shows disconnected, so I right click and connect. I had this before and sorted it out, but for the life of me I cant remember how to, can someone remind me please

Thanks

Dave

I'm no expert at this but it did happen to me and I think that you can set it as a network connection so it does not dial up at all.

Sorry I cant be more specific.

This problem arose for me after a patch.

Tools > Internet Options > Connections Tab > Highlight the ADSL connection and click Settings. Bottom half of screen, click Advanced. Make sure there are no ticks in the two "Disconnect" boxes
