Trojan Horse problem ?
Keep getting a message telling me I have one and that I need to run an AVG virus check which I have done twice and I 've run a Spyware check all have been clear.
Is there anyway of finding out if I deffo have one or is this just a p*ss take?
This is what it says I have Trojan horse IRC/BackDoor .SdBot.34.BB
cheers Colin

Trends only came up with a non cleanable Worm.
The AVG warning that I've been getting says ...AVG Resident Shield...
Trojan horse IRC/Backdoor.SdBot.34.BB found in file c:\Systems volume information\ - restore blah blah
and another
Trojan horse Downloader .Dyfica.BC. found in file C:\ Docume~2\Colin\Locals Blah Blah
my machine doesn't appear to be suffering porformance wise... yet.
Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give me.

sounds like the first one is in a system restore file, thats why its non-removable, think you have to turn off system restore first.
Not sure on 2nd..
If it can't be deleted cos its in use then i'd check with something like hijackthis to see whats what or maybe spybot can do it in advanced mode...
You could try avast antivirus software instead of avg, even the free version is supported so they'd tell you how to fix it if the program didn't automatically. http://www.avast.com
