Default web cam help?

I bought a web cam a while ago, a Trust spacecam 2.0.
It seems good and gives a fairly decent picture.

Im on broadband in which my pc goes through a network hub to a router.

The thing is, the cam speed seems really slow, even when im the only one online.
I thought using broadband it would be quite good?
Can anyone shed some light on this

cheers

Tony

Eh? Can you explain what you're doing with the cam?

What slows down, the refresh of the camera picture on your PC application or when someone is watching it over the internet?

Tony,

In that case it will probably be because its USB1.0. Nothing you can really do to speed it up other than lowering the rez/colours etc
