New Computer.......Help Needed!!!!
Ok, so I'm gonna sound a complete thicky but I've got this new computer and when I'm on the internet and I click on a link to take me to another page it won't do anything!! For example, if I'm on scoobynet and I click the link to scoobychat, it won't take me there!! I know there is a simple explanation but I've not a clue what to do!!
Someone PLEASE help me out!!
Thanks

Has it got anything like Norton Internet Security installed? If so check the settings/options haven't been screwed down too tight. Same applies to Tools > Internet Options > Security.
Also try Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reuse Windows for launching shortcuts. Whatever it is currently set to (ticked/unticked) try the opposite. Unticked will (should) launch shortcuts in a new window.

Thanks Fig. Tried everything you said and it's still not working! It'll work on some sites but it won't open a site in a new window for some reason. Bloody technology

Think I've finally found the problem. Looks like i'm missing msjava.dll. Been looking on the net for it but most things I've read have been saying to steer clear of it!! And the only place I seem to be having probs with links is here on SN. Anyone else having probs with the links on the top of the main page like chat etc and the smilies?!
