Default Old Mailboxes and Accounts

We've just taken over responsibility for a load of Exchange 2000 boxes and we know there are loads of accounts on there unused. Does anyone know a tool that will let us highlight unused/unopened mailboxes ?

Without needing a tool can you use the Mailbox view in SERVERNAME >> FIRST STORAGE GROUP >> MAILBOX STORE >> MAILBOXES and sort the view by last logon date/time? If youve backup software it will have a logon for that but the last logon will then be by the System Account. Maybe exclude those mailboxes you suspect of being "dead" from the backup and see if anyone logs onto it? Or use the same view and sort by size or total items to find empty mailboxes? Beware of the system mailboxes though - ie SMTP etc
