Whats the cheapest you've seen 128mb Radeon 9800 Pro for and where from?
Would consider getting one of these if the price has dropped sufficiently. I have seen a few places doing them online for around £150 delivered which I think is still too high as they are no longer the latest technology and only 128mb.
Anywhere you have seen cheaper?
Also whats the voltage of the 9800 pro? My motherboard's agp slot is 2/4x supported and is this board http://support.intel.com/support/mot...ktop/d845ept2/
However I am running a GeForce FX 5600 which is 8x and it works fine.
What concerns me is the following:
The AGP connector is not mechanically compatible with 3.3V AGP cards. To some the 1.5V AGP connector may appear backwards due to the connector key being exactly the opposite of the 3.3V AGP connector.
Taken from here http://support.intel.com/support/mot.../CS-009010.htm
Hence I need to know whether the 9800 Pro will work on my machine

Thanks for the links The ebuyer one had a good spec sheet and confirmed the voltage would be compatable.
Cheers Meridian for the heads up on the agp specs.
The lowestontheweb link is the best at £125 so don't think thats going to beaten
Think thats a must purchase for FarCry and Joint Operations, cheers.

Ordered for £125 including delivery can't wait to see what difference it makes over a 5600!
How do I go about increasing the cooling in the pc though? People have said the card increases the temp in the box substantially and advise sticking in more cooling

B2Zero - I've just nearly ordered the Radeon 9800PRO 128MB myself tonight but after spending ages searching and reading I'm putting it on hold as not got the finances to upgrade PSU, unfortunately my Dell Dimension 4550's PSU is only 250Watt & the power supply and fan are the opposite way round to most other comps/towers. Was gonna order a 600Watt ebuyer PSU for just £17.99 till I realsied it wouldn't fit without cutting holes etc in my tower. The only PSU i've found that specifically fits my comp is $149.00 thats nearly as much as the ATi 9800PRO!
Also was gonna order the 'Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer Rev3' from ebuyer as it was only £8 and was recommend with positive reviews (approx. 10mins to fit) and definately a good idea from what I've been reading.
BTW the one you've ordered is the OEM I think, and a good price.

Taff107: I only managed to get it for £309.01 from Inmac.
I most likely could have got it a bit cheaper, but didn't really have time to shop around. Besides it will be a 'company' purchase :-)
The specs pretty amazing though:-
Features:
256MB of 'Xtreme performance GDDR3 memory accelerates the latest cutting edge 3D applications
256-bit quad-channel GDDR3 memory interface
Twelve 'Xtreme parallel pixel pipelines
Supports the AGP 8X and AGP 4x standard, providing a high-speed link between the graphics board and the rest of the PC
Six programmable vertex shader pipelines
Full support for DirectX® 9.0 and the latest OpenGL® functionality
New SMARTSHADER™ HD technology allows for support for Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 programmable vertex and pixel shaders in hardware as well as OpenGL® via extensions.
SMOOTHVISION™ HD technology provides enhanced image quality by removing jagged edges and bringing out fine texture detail, without compromising performance
3Dc™ High quality 4:1 Normal Map Compression delivers beautiful scenes without the performance hit.
Unique VIDEOSHADER™ HD engine uses programmable pixel shaders to accelerate video processing and provide better-looking visuals
HYPER Z™ HD is optimized for performance at high display resolutions, including widescreen HDTV resolutions.
