Question How to detect LAN card in WinNT4
I've put a new LAN card in a WinNT PC but don't know whch driver it needs. Can WinNT automatically detect the card type/model so I know what to install? I've tried a few but the card does not work.

WinNT does not have Plug and Pray - so knowing the type of card would REALLY help.

Do you have any kind of indentifying numbers on the card?

Yup with NT4 it won't help you identify it, just whip the case off and take a look.
