Default Possibly the most bizarre program i've written - a binary clock

not sure what possessed me to write this, but it's fun and you learn to 'see' binary pretty quickly.

http://www.qucami.net/BinaryClock.exe

double click on the border to quit (it remembers where you left it, so you can put a short cut in start up and forget about it)
click-drag on the border too.

for the un-binary-initiated:
you can see the rows are 'h'ours, 'm'inutes and 's'econds.
mentally label each column of dots from the left to the right 1,2,4,8,16,32 (powers of 2) and add up these numbers if a light is 'lit'
- - - # - # # would be 1+2+8=11 am
- - - - - # # would be 1+2=3 minutes
- - - # # # # would be 1+2+4+8 = 15 seconds

quite cool to sit in the corner of ur screen, eh?

Columns should be labelled 1,2,4,8,16,32 right to left though

Thanks Markus, you've just killed my self esteem with that site....

I've just spent the last five minutes browsing, smirking with the occasional "whoa, coool".

My name's Hank and I'm geek....

There are only 10 types of people; those who understand binary and those who don't
