Not quite sure I understand the point of it especially when players are exchanging items in the game for real money Apparently even the virtual land is being bought and sold with real life money - crazy.

Is it more geeky than pioneering? Sounds it to me.

I'm asking as i'm intrigued by what people find so gripping about it especially when you have to pay a monthly fee to play it.
