Have you got this trojan in windows/system/system32dll?
If you have I have the same problem, done all the spypot adaware stuff and they don`t find it.Only thing that can is the norton virus scan but then it cannot fix it,the only option is delete it.I don`t know much about pcs but I am pretty sure if I delete this file I will knacker the pc.
Anyone know how to get it out of this file???????

its all abit of a detective game, im no expert but theres a logical flow of events, it took me awhile but i got there its handy that the av can detects it cos it often tells you its a file its not sure on, then you gonna search the reg for that file, thatll lead you to some other dlls then some clsid's......

I know the file it is in...It is the rest of what you do that I have no idea about.
What do you actually do when you know what file it is in...I need it in simple terms as i know sweet fa about this..

neither do i, im just an I.T Bullsh*t engineer Theres lots of it experts on here, im sure they could bullsh't better than me...

dont know how to explain in simple terms yet...a good start is to look at the system processes(what is being run on startup) (press ctrl-alt-del to get the task manager), if you dont know what one does look it up on google. if its a nasty one do a search in the registry & remove any references of it.
if its browser problems, popups, searchpages check in
hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\curr entversion\explorer\browserhelperobjects.... but theres loads more...

if you look at the file or virus in the antivirus prog itll probably show you all the registry keys to delete manually. In this case they seemed to be all wrong so had to work it out myself...

have you tried CWSHREDDER?
