One For The Weathermen - Live Weather Feed
What are my options for this?
Ideally I'd like to throw a postcode/GPS co-ordinate and receive back a current snapshot of the weather in that area - ie temp & whether its dry, cludy, snowing, raining etc. Possibly next "x" hour forcasts as well.
Alternatively receive current & next 2 hour forcast for the UK broken down into areas/counties.
XML feed would be lovely.
So what we got that we can use? Or other options?

You can do things with:
http://www.weather.com/services/oap.html?from=footer
http://xoap.weather.com/search/search?where=XXXXX will return you a Location ID (insert a post code, city etc instead of the XXXXX).
You can then use that key to pull down XML information.
Download DesktopWeatherXML from:
http://www.samurize.com/modules/mydo...wcat.php?cid=9
There's some VB Script which shows how to pull down the feeds.
HTH mate.
