AVG Picked her up just now. Must be new as I have XP fully updated and AVG couldn't remove it to the virus vault. What to do?Remove the temporary interent files?

 

As a little update just deleted all temporary internet files, ran AVG and no virus has now been reported on the system.
Fingers crossed....

 

...But it's come back. Great.

 

See if it is running in Processes Andrew. If it is, <End Process> run AVG again and it will probably be able to Quarantine/Delete it. I had a Dialer virus that Sophos wouldn't delete, until I did <End Process> in Processes in Task Manager.

 

Thanks Redkop, very kind of you. Yep had a look in processes and as far as I can see it's not there. Got a feeling it's some kind of spyware, the reason being the message:

' You have not installed the software of access. Visualize the site have to correctly install this software, guaranteed against every virus! Do you want to install him/it?'

Pops up every few mins...
