Wireless PC to Laptop Advice
Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of getting a wireless set up from my desktop to the laptop, so I can use it all over the house and use broadband on the laptop.
I've had a quick look around and found this from Bigpockets which doens't seem to bad for a 11Mbs set up.
Does anyone know of a better deal/system for around £80 all in for a PC to laptop set up,
Thanks.

If you only want to connect one PC to a laptop, I don't think you really need an access point. You should be able to create an 'ad-hoc' connection between the PCs themselves. ~£25 for a PCI WiFi card and ~£30 for a wireless PC card should be sufficient.

as above would be good if you only EVER wanted to connect the PC and laptop but you'll need an AP for more than one connection eg. Games console or another PC/laptop.
why use 11mbps when 54 is getting cheaper now.
www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk seem good with the prices and I haven't had any problems buying from them.
