Just check the consumable prices first. We have an Epson colour laser that only cost £450. You need 4 toners, black is cheap around £40 but the colour ones are £80 each.

Thats still cheap - I can get samsung branded Hi capacity colour toners for £65 through my work - that do 15,000 copies.
I've got a Phaser 7300DN beside my desk at work and the toners are 185+vat each and still do 15,000 copies.
Try working out how many injet cartridges you would use for 15,000 copies at 5% coverage and you will see that its cheaper - e.g. 6 times epson cartridges even cheap ones for £5 a shot are £30 a set and do about 750-1000 copies so times that by 15 - I get £450 worth of cardridges.
