....i have 10 14/15" monitors, an old laserjet 3, 3 pentium 500 base units and assorted keyboards and mice to give to a good cause.

These have all arrived via a friends company reorganisation and i just don't have the room to store them at the moment.

Does anyone have any experience of the various "computers for charity" organisations? Some seem to be more legit looking than others.

Best thing you could do, if you're willing to put the time in, would be to sell it all on ebay and write a cheque to the charity. I think you'd be able to offset the donation against tax too - so you would be able to donate more for the same amount of money, IYSWIM.
