Default Reducing JPEG size for the web

I have a load of JPEG files taken with my digital camera which I want to upload to the web but have a limited amount of webspace and seeing that the files straight from the camera are 700kb each its not going to take much to fill the space I have and also they are going to be very slow to load.

Is there some application I can use to reduce the size of the pics and what sort of file size should I expect to reduce them to?

Thanks

David

(Look on the right for "image resizer")

Other versions of window s: http://www.imageresizer.com/

Otherwise, something like adobe photoshop or paintshop pro
