It's probably me being a bit thick (wouldn't be the 1st time). just bought a road angel, recieved my email, downloaded the software, plugged it all in and .... nothing. the ra unit is recognised by the computer when plugged in and asks to be registered, the computer trys to install the software but says it can't find any, and when i click on any if the icons (apart from the btm rt on next to the clock) nowt happens...
any ideas ppl??

Just a thought but you have to turn the gps of for it to download any info, is the gps turned off?

the unit is still asking to be registered, i don't think the gps is on.

It can take 24 hours for the registration details to be added to Road Angel's server - perhaps this is the problem? Have you spoken to the tech support team? They are very helpful.

The icon you are referring to in the bottom right hand corner - is that the Road Angel symbol? If so, you should right mouse click on it and you should get a menu like this:
