Need to Format C Drive
Anybody tell me how to format a machine running XP Pro.
I have been given an old work PC (inc operating software), and need to format so I can do a clean install.

Enter Bios, usually F1 or DEL, then set to boot from CDROM as primary.
Save and exit.
Put windows XP cdrom in cd drive. Switch computer on or restart. When installing it allows you to delete partitions, format drive and re-install.
If not use AEFDISK on a bootable floppy to format to NTFS with large disk support.

If your PC can not boot from a CD device download Microsoft's boot diskette creator from the link below; its for XP Pro. For XP Home use the second link.
