Cookies Being Deleted When XP Closes
For some bizarre reason my cookies are lost when I shut down XP or even logoff and log back in. If I logon to SN then shut my browser and reopen its fine.
Anyone got any ideas what is causing this as its doing my nut in having to logon each time I use a forum (I use quite a few)?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Simon.

Is this just the cookies or your temporary internet files as well?
The only thing that I can think of is under Tools ---> Internet Options ---> Advanced Tab ---> Security settings (near the bottom of the window) ---> Is the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" checked?
I seem to remember from using earlier op systems that this folder held all the cookies as well as the temp files.....
