Default Doamin name problems

a friend of mine has a domain problem;

basically, he has the .com for his company, but omitted to cover the .co.uk.

someone has seized the opportunity and has posted some details on there that could be considered scandalous. not sure if its a competitor or a dusgruntled customer.

the whois database gives no more than a regstrant name and says the individual has elected to have their address omitted.

whats the best thing to do about it?

thanks, simon
