Default NTFS / FAT32 Question

I used to have Win XP until an hour ago but i formatted the pc because of an unknown problem caused to my internet connection. I have now installed Win ME(a mate of mine has my WinXP CD so i couldn't install XP again ) .

I have a problem though. One of my 3 hard disks is formatted as NTFS and WinMe can't 'see' it. I have loads of stuff in this HD that i don't want to erase by deleting the partition and formatting it again. Is there an update for WinMe that will allow me to view the 'missing' HD???

Wink

Try using:

http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/fr...tfswin98.shtml

You won't be able to write to the volume, but it'll let you copy your data away.

Sorry... not possible...

you need to install Xp or NT to read the drive...

it may be possible to have Partition magic read the drive and copy the info...maybe... but be the tiem you've got it you may as well load XP back on...

SysInternals also do a very handy plug in for NT to allow it to read FAT32 partitions.
