Default Graphics help please :)

I have a pc which my mate is having for a bit of internet surfing. It has an issue where it won't display more than 16 colours
The pc thinks the card is just a standard vga card which i assume would only do 16 colours????? Anyway the card is a Rage xl blah blah blah which is more than capable of more colours as it used to show millions of them when the pc was mine. Can anybody show a muppet the way forward?

Needs the ATI drivers. http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

You will need to know which model of the Rage card it is.

The standard Microsoft VGA driver is working fine. You need to update the driver using the ATI ones to get it working properly.
