VIVO help needed
Have a Winfast A250 LE card (ti4200) with s-video port. I am trying to get video in working on the card but cant
I have tried using winfast's pvr software but it doesn't see my card as a video capture card Just doesn't see any cards when you go to the drop down list for adapters.
Basically trying to get the ps2 to display on the pc's monitor in a window. Have put the video cable from the ps2 into the connecting adapter cable to the svideo port on the video card but no joy.
Is there any software I can try other than what I have tried so far?

Hi Dunk, well erm I installed it but only after I had been messing about with pvr lol. I think I might have to uninstall the lot and start afresh and see what happens. I'll try drivers then wdm driver then pvr and see if it helps. I also had winfox installed but don't think I need it so might not put that back on.
The other thing that confused me was the fact there is only one s-video port. How does it know if its supposed to be video in or video out at the time you are messing with it?

Hmmm, not sure about the s-video port thing. I have the WinFast TV2000 card so its just video-in, but getting the drivers installed in the right order made a big differnence on mine.
Is there anything in the Display Settings in Control Panel ? Or in the My VIVO software ?

There is nothing in the display settings for it at all. Looks like its all driven by additional software such as the my vivo software.
Wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't even work and its not vivo at all, was one of those deals from ebuyer put up on scoobynet and got the card for £50 in a cardboard box instead of the winfast box - apparently it used to be a really good card up around the £150 mark

It should work np Bob. I have my satellite box plugged into the s-video of my PVR-350 card for recording movies, but I have to make sure I tell the WinTV software to use s-video rather than its default settings or I cant see anything. I also had to buy a decent s-video lead as the one that came with it was a pos
