bizarre window dragging problem...
on my machine at work, when i drag a window around the screen, it feels like the window has inertia.
in reality it seems like the pc remembers where the mouse has been and the window follows the path until the mouse stops. eg, drag the window right then more left that the start position. what should happen is when you move left, the window follows. on my pc, the window will go all the way to where the mouse stopped at the right then track to my current left position.
i've changed all the mouse properties, acceleration, speed, etc to no avail. the pc's not slow either (dual 1ghz CPUs, 1gb ram, 8mb video @ 1280x1024)
only thing i can think of is drivers
any other suggestions?

Dont know if this will help but if you are using XP do this. Right click on the desktop, go to "appearance" tab, click on effects and uncheck the box that say "show window contents whilst dragging". Apparently it uses a lot of CPU cycles to keep redrawing whats in the screen.
Dont know how to turn it off in 98 or 2000, maybe under the tools - folder options ?
