corgi i already did that, only older builds.

Steve: i thought AVG 7 was meant to be good???! Always seemed fine for me, and loads of people i know use the free version.

Can get McAfee VirusScan ASaP through work, might give that a go.

VirusScan ASaP isn't developed for home use. We don't licence it for home use and you should know that whoever administers it will know file name and location of any dodgy files including webpages that you click on.

If you're looking after it, your reps report no problems and the licences are all paid up then it should be fine.

All paid up fine, we currently have 110 licenses, 7 available.

What i mean is, them having it is no different to me having it. And you thought there was a problem with me having it? I'm a bit lost.

It's not QA'd on home operating systems. The licence agreement - although I haven't read it for a while - would not cover machines other than company owned due to privacy issues.
