Can someone tell me how to change your homepage

I went onto a web site and now have it as my homepage. I have done all the usually tricks. Tried putting google as my homepage, tried changing it within Internet options, Tried ad ware v6 and spy bot v1.3, and even tried changing the target within properties on internet explorer.

Any one with any good ideas.

Despite being a gooner I'll offer this advice :-

Check that something hasn't messed around with your hosts file..

should be in \windows\system32\drivers\etc

 

no it all looks good in there, as far as I can tell, although Im not sure what to look for!!!. It is a microsft website that is stuck as my hompage so I don't think anyone is messing it up. any other ideas. Gooners rule!!!!!!!!
