Nachi.B Virus - help

Found the Nachi.B virus on my system. I understand it isnt a threat as its purpose is to delete the MyDoom virus but it does slow down the performance of the system.

Question is, how do i get rid of it safely?

It is a threat as it mails itself out from your machine, just like the virus it trys to replace. Best way to get rid is with antivirus software. Try this free tool http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ then invest in some Antivirus.
