Linux konquerer browser - what problems?
Hi all,
Need to start considering accessiblility for a number of my projects and need to ascertain any outstanding or known bugs/issues with konquerer browsers.
Does anyone here use this browser, and do you know of any problems you encounter with regular net surfing?
Does JavaScript work well? And flash? etc. etc.
If I were to build sites, what wouldn't work on Konquerer?
I'm keen to not support it, but I need good reasons not to.
Your help would me most appreciated.
Cem

Have a look around the Apple Safari boards and blogs as well. The best to start would by Surfin Safari which is engine developer David Hyatt's blog. Both browsers are based on the KHTML rendering engine so share many similar properites.
In general, if you code to standards, Mozilla/Netscape/Firefox (Gecko), Opera and Konq/Safari (KHTML) will render it correctly, its when it comes to MSIE and legacy NS 4.x that you have to start hacking workarounds (particularly CSS support)
