Only picked up this a few days ago & I'm aleady hooked again......many new games, the use of speech is interesting though not always suitable for kids & the use of vehicles is excellent.....

looked at this, but have to admit that this type of fps wasnt really my thing, big fan of counterstrike. saw the previews of this and was very impressed, im tempted to buy it just for the sake of it.

I think I'm gonna be playing this for a while longer still got Homeworld 2 to complete along with X2 The Threat, not enough hours in the evening.....Wonder if the boss would mind during the day?!

Far Cry is out which probably means end of life for me until its completed Never really liked the last UT but perhaps this one will rekindle the intrest I had with the first UT.

Havent heard that, I thought it was out this week, perhaps thats just in the US. Think I'll go check now as the screenies of bumpmapping like the ones below and the talk of huge levels and really good AI had me hoping it was this week.

I've been trying to get the rest of my UT Classic clan over to UT2004 since the demo was released. No-one is interested until they actually play the game...and now nearly everyone is hooked.

There's a secret vehicle in there as well - some sort of hot-rod mobile toilet!

 

for what its worth if your pre ordering try game.uk.com if you pre order through them you should get the game on the 26th, as they post the day before unlike amazon who are not gonna ship until 27th, so if you want it for this weekend and prefer shopping via a chair, then check out game

farcry is an excellent game, I'm completely hooked on it at the moment. Just got U2K4 through the door yesterday and for £17.99 is well worth buying.
