Default Data.msi from Office 2000 Proffesional

Need a bit of help.
I bought a new Ipaq and with it came Outlook 2002.I already use Outlook 2000 so thought it would be easy to upgrade the program WRONG.
Needed the original Office Proffesional disc to access the file "data.msi" to complete installation.Due to the fact that I lost it about 1 year ago I am now up the **** creek.Has anyone got this file and if so could I please get a copy.

Let me know, DO NOT e-mail file in its original name extension to me as Outlook will block this file and has to be renamed first.

Cheers

Grant

I got a new PC a few years ago which came with "Office 2000"! It actually came with "Office 2000 upgrade" and "MS Works" so you had to install MS works before you could install Office! Have a word with whoever supplied the Ipaq see if they can give you the previous version to allow the upgrade or the full version to start with!

Does your old system not have the required file? Usually with windows, you can point to the existing file on the HDD instead of the CD and it will accept it, but don't know if that will work on an Ipaq!
