Question Is this a Java problem??

Whenever I try to load this page

http://www.wigtonmc.co.uk

I can't see the stuff on the left hand side.
In IE i just get red crosses, using Mozilla doesn't help either.
Is this a Java script? applet? problem on my machine, and if so how can i fix it?
Machine is Acer Laptop with XP.

If you've got the sun jdk / jvm installed, then select "Sun java console" from the tools drop down menu in Internet Explorer and refresh the web page. It should display the error message in the console window.

Also, have you tried installing the latest java runtime from http://java.sun.com. Might be that the applet needs a newer version of Java than you have installed on the machine.

Fixed!! Many thanks one and all!

Went to that Java page above, didn't know what the hell i was looking for! Followed a link to another Java page and manually downloaded and installed the Runtime Enviroment. I've now got the console in my 'tools' menu, and the web is a wonderful place to be again! (for now anyway)
