Why Oh! Why, Can't I get the Audio conversation to work on msn messenger!!

I have 6.1.......XP Pro...etc

I have used the audio video tuning wizard........

yet only the video is sent/received..........

I have a cam with built in mic.... and also a seperate mic..

I have tried the seperate mic on both the front and back mic jack of my PC... and nowt...

I CAN create a video email.... send it and it has video/audio....... mmmhhhhh

Thing is it used to work........ but doesn't seem to since 6.1 (or am I grasping at straws!>?!>">!??)

I installed a cam and mic on a friends that has Win98 and it all worked first time.........

I peeeeeeeed off............. just wanna get it working......

Also, my mate is running the same setup and can't get audio......... is it XP and MSN???

Hope someone can advise me the answer!!!!
