Unhappy Computer playing up

Hi

I keep getting errors for Msccn32 & NScheck playing up on my computer They keep stopping and crashing explorer & outlook I then have to re-start the machine Is there anyway to fix it or is a re-build the only way?

You have the Win32.Sobig.B@mm (Palyh) virus and spyware (probably Netsetter) on your PC

Damn How do you remove that? I don't think there is a virus checker on that machine thinking about it

I went to Sophos and downloaded the file to fix it What virus detecter should I use on this machine?

I have now fixed the virus's on there but the machine still doesn't work properly You run the virus scanner now and no virus's are found. You still have to keep rebooting it though

Any ideas before I have to re-build it?

quick way is to run a repair install of the os, will keep all your files & programs etc but will just fill in the blanks & repair the damage from the virus, you will be left with hopfully a stable install

What a pain in the **** It's an old machine so I had 95 on it that I updated to run 98 I don't even have the disc for 98
