I have DVDdecryptor to copy DVD's down to my PC but need something that will then convert them VOB files into MPEG so I can watch them or copy to CD.

Any tools recommended?

Currently have DVDtoAVI and TMGsomething but the 'trial' period has run out and now obvious way to register or 'enable' the software. BUT, TBH I'm not impressed by these programs as they are fiddly to use.

 

Have a look at http://www.doom9.org - They have guides to pretty much *any* convesrion you might want.

I use the Gordian Knot bundles (Codecs and Rip Software) to Rip DVDs then Encode to DivX for playback via the Xbox.

I reckon DVD to finished DivX is about 10 Clicks tops.
