Blimey - just "coastered" a TDK CD-R
Must be the first one in about 7 years of using them
Not doing anything flash - just "making backups" of my cd's etc...
does anyone else have problems anymore ??

What do you mean by coastered, do you mean you tried to copy a Cd and it went wrong and now all the CD R is worth is its value as a coaster - or am i losing the will to live?
If so I have quite a few problems with TDK I recently bought 30 48x cd rs, yet I cannot go any higher then 16x or else they go wrong

Yup I burn at 48x using a mix of verbatim (okish) and TDK - today was first time I had a TDK crap out on me - I do use CD-R80 speed X's though (as if it makes a difference)

I dunno - I just bought the best / fastest burner around - IIRC some burners get flakey after 500 copies anyway. I change mine every 6 months to be safe.
