Question Canon 300D pricing

Hi All

Best price I've found so far is £799 (incl lens).

Does anyone know of a place that can do it cheaper ???

Cheers

Is it the 18-55mm lens that it comes with?

You realise that that lenses will only work on the EOS 300D. No other Canon lense accepts this fitting. I think it is a EF-S fitting where as every other canon lense is EF.

Park cameras have the body only for 714.99

Yes that's the one.

Not too bothered about it only fitting this camera, as it's just to get me started.

Price sounds about right. I have seen it slightly cheaper but not from anyone I've ever bought stuff from (i.e. would trust to recommend).

Hey Amazon has the kit for £799.

Mind you the price may drop again in the next month or so following the launch of the Nikon D70. Who knows.....

Cheers

Thanks for the info guys.

I'll give 'letsgotditital' a call and see what they have to say for themselves.

I need to weigh up carefully the £100 saving against the ease of returning it to my local dixons.

Cheers

Go to Jessops as they will price match most uk based internet sites. As long as you have a print out of the page with the price and that the unit is in stock then they will usually match it, or at least get very close. I got my Sony F828 from them and they matched QED-UK for so saved about £60 off their marked price.

Oh and they also have a 30 day return policy...
