Viruses are named by members of CARO the Computer Antivirus Research Organisation. Basically a beer drinking club whos members know a thing or two about computer Malware. The names try to distract from anything intended by the author but often relate to text contained in the code.

I'm guessing right now but in the ones Nimbus posted i assume the W32 means it's a Windows3 one and VBS is Visual basic script but whats the MM mean
