2 PC's on one Blueyonder Broadband Connection?
My mate has his own PC, as has his Daughter. He wants both PC's to access the Net via the same connection. If it makes any difference, she has a set top box next to her PC.
Is this possible/easy?

Piece of pee with a router. You can use WinMe/WinXP's Internet Connection Sharing feature to do the same thing but it's clumsy and requires the host PC to be on whenever the other one wants to connect.
Less than £100 for a good broadband modem/router nowadays. Couple of cheap network cards (if the PC's don't already have them) and they're in business.

I get the feeling he would be too tight to splash out towards £100. I don't think he would mind the host PC been turned on however. Would the second PC need to be ME or XP as well?

One wireless router £39 and one PCI wireless network card £10 both from e-buyer at the moment.
Also gives you a hardware firewall within the router and hub.
