Outlook Problem. £ displays as " to recipient.
Hi, when I send email in Outlook (Office 2000) the pound sign shows up okay on my pc. When the recipient opens the email they get " instead of £.
Any ideas

Does this only happen when you reply to an e-mail or both ie when send a new mail ?
If it only happens when edit an e-mail is it beacause you have MS Word set as the editor and is this set to something other than English Uk.
A few other boxes to check are tools, options, mail format, check that mail set to html, check that both word option unticked.
Check that the international options, encoding options are ticked and that western european (ISO) are selected.
Other than that try reloading outlook
