grey pop ups
this is probably an old problem but does anyone know how to stop the grey bloody pop-ups from errr popping up every 20 seconds. ive got a pop up blocker with aol; but its sh*#e

Assuming your running XP and talking about the annoying "Messenger Service" popups then;
It was implemented by MS to allow network admin etc to send popup dialogues to remote computers etc, unfortunately it's also used to spam your computer with ads.
Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services
