Printing problems! HP and XP
Hi all,
I've been asked to see if I can fix someone's printer (HP 650 CXi thru USB) which has worked fine for the last year but has recently had some problems - the document starts to print and after a few lines it spits the paper out and hangs. Then the document queue thingy tells me the print has failed.
I deleted and reinstalled the printer - no improvement.
Went to the HP website - it has no further updated drivers than the one shipped with XP.
Took the printer home, installed perfectly on my laptop and desktop and has no problems printing.
Any solutions? Should I copy the standard drivers from my PC to theirs in case they've been corrupted?
How do you check from problems with the Print Spooler software?
thanks in advance!

It was a dodgy USB port - worked fine on the other three.
Never experienced this before..
Ports are mounted on to the motherboard - can I fix this?
