I am trying to set up an audio conversation using msn messenger 6.1 but says connecting and nothing happens.I am using NAT but have put my PC into the DMZ so should have full access to all the ports.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong ??

Same here!! Was doing my head in last week! Webcam works fine but it wont send OR receive audio!!

I can do audio, but it wont work sometimes and I have to do Audio Wizard again a few times and it seems to work then

The video goes via an MS server that can take care of NAT etc. and so can generally work even with machines on NAT or behind firewalls.

For reasons best known only to Bill the audio does not take a similar route and so will often not work depending on the configuration of the networks at both ends.

Any chance you could set up a VPN between the two points and route the video and audio over that?

I got the same problem.......

Video works fine, but I can't connect audio to ANYONE!!!

Done video/audio tuning wizard, til'it comes out of my ears!!!!!

I have a webcam with built in mic and even tried seperate mic on both front and rear mic ports...
