Hi All,

Im just asking if anyone knows a *good* web developer that they can recommend. Im starting up a hosting business (already at breakeven and has a good USP) and need a freelance web designer who knows how to create a good website/portal. If it works out there will be a lot more web work put their way.

What I need want for the site/portal is the following:

1. Clean, unique design, inkeeping with line of business. Unique (No templates)
2. Company image/logo
3. Quick to load/optimised browsing experience
4. Work with all browsers (well modern ones, ie IE, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera etc) not just IE
5. No flash/java etc (php is good)
6. One or two database driven pages
7. Easily extensable/updatable to reflect later stages of the overall plan

What I need from the developer:
Prof Designer with Apache,MySQL, PHP, HTML, DHTML, and PHPbb, CSS experience.
OS Commerce experience.
Search engine optimisation experience (esp yahoo and google)
Payment systems/automation/authorisation

If anyone knows of anyone who fits the bill can they please let me know.

I know im asking a lot here, but I do realise good designs dont come cheap but I am not going to invest thousands in it.

I might know someone. I've dropped them an email to see if they would be interested (don't know if they are currently working on anything at the mo).

Will let you know if he's interested

Good luck with it
