I seem to remeber seeing somewhere a website where you could download a file, burn it to a disk,pop it in your reigion locked DVD player and it unlocks it.

Am I talking crap, and if not can I burn it to a cd or does it need to be burnt to DVD?

I've never heard of that.

If you tell me your dvd player and model number, I might be able to tell you how to make your dvd player multi-region by entering a code on the remote.

The burning the file onto a disc method is for toshiba players. It does work too as I have done 3. Some players can be hacked by inputting codes with the remote control, panasonic usually can't. The site I use when looking for hacks is www.dvdrhelp.com

i think you will require the service disc for that one m8. i do not think there is a handset hack for it.
