PC66 and PC100 - interchangeable ?

If a motherboard supports PC66 , does it go without saying it will support PC100 too ?

nope it does not. you will need to check with the motherboard manufacturer. if it was a PC100 board then yes they would be interchangable.

But you can put PC100 memory in it. It will just run at 66Mhz

there are possibly jumpers on the MB to swith between 66/100
