Question

thinking about getting a cordless modem connection... - you know to web-surf in the garden in the summer to get a tan, so nobody knows I'm a geek

Any body tried any? any good points / bad points, good deals currently?

Cheers

Mick

I have a dect phone with a USB dect modem. Think it's a bt 1800.

It worked fine as a cordless modem. NOw moved to broadband so don't use it anymore.

Hello

I have seen but not used these. Before I had broadband, I used an SMC Wireless Barricade. This is a wireless router (for Broadband as well) that lets you use dial-up as its connection. I was using ISDN, but it works with a normal (external) modem.

You can pick up the router on ebay quite cheaply these days.

Steve.
