Hotmail problems
#1
Hi, I've only really been into internet for about 3 years, so please bear with me.
My kids got me started with a Hotmail account. At the time, I didn't know any other type.
However, since they "updated" the service, lots of my sent mail seems never to arrive, and especially when I use "reply".
I have XP runing, and am on NTL broadband, so should be able to get other e-mail addresses, I think, but how? And how do I get a password?
If I change to another e-mail address, would I have to send it out to all my contacts etc etc?
Please help a new internet junkie!:
Thanks,
Alcazar

I also use Hotmail, am on NTL broadband and running XP. I've not got any problems though. Maybe the emails you sent were too big for Hotmail which has a size limit, did they contain large attachments?
I use the upgraded service so can't remember what the restrictions are on the normal addresses. Since the improvements I have to say it's been fantastic, I rarely get any junk mail now.
