Xbox HALO - jerky screen?
#1
Hi
Just go an Xbox and I'm near the end of the game. Just done the final run bit or whatever. Anyway I've noticed that the background is quite jerky now and I'm sure it wasn't at the start. Am I imagining it or is my Xbox developing a fault. Even inside the ship the corridors seem to jump along as I move rather than glide.
Anyone experience this
TIA

if its a backed up game perhaps the game was a bit big for the media and the final stages are at the end of the disc
causing fragmenting and pixelated of detail
reburn on better media
if its an original game
dunno

Nope, not your problem. I think your XBOX is just fine.
I made a video clip of Halo and you can see objects jerking every 1 second or so.

Give it a look and let us know what you think!
All the best,

Taff - are you running at 60Hz or 50Hz
At 60Hz the screen does become jerky at certain points of the game due to the extra work the graphics chip is doing, swap to 50 and all should be fine (and unless your playing on a huge TV you probably wont notice a drop in quality).
