Not only do the cars look like the real-life models but they will also sound like the authentic revs of the rally beasts with what SCi is boasting ‘Unparalleled engine simulation modelled on genuine automotive information and individual car specs’ shaping up to be the right balanced jingle to appeal to the racing devotees.

One of the standout points of Richard Burns Rally looking over its features is the spectator participation, not only do they scream their support as you zoom past them along the twisting tracks but if you happen to roll your car on the track they will actually help you! This is an amazing innovation by SCi to include, yes we’ve seen it in the real rallies, when fans help roll or push the car to help the drivers, but to include it in the game will be something definitely worth seeing.
------------------------------------------------------------------
If you happen to get in a position of deep trouble and not even the fans are able to salvage you from the pickle you find yourself in, apparently there is a helicopter that rescues you.

Yet another Rally game. WRC, and McRae are the biggies, with loadsa other rally type games in the budget pile, like Shox (which I worked on, hehe).

Is there room for another one? I currently have WRC, and McRae 3 + 4 (wouldn't have bought 4, but I blew up my PS2 trying to fix it, and it came with the new one!)

Thumbs up

I can't wait for this one. Having an xbox means I've had to endure the McRae "arcade" series. Would love to sink my teeth into a more authentic rally game

Exclamation

ouch!

now, now. No need to take the p1ss out of his potentially fatal condition.....

Let's keep it respectful peeps..

Looking forward to the game though - any ideas on release date - have I got time to finish Max Payne 2 and Halo (PC) along with HalfLife2 before it comes out!!!

Haven't even included my XBox games!!

Dan

I think the reason for the delay could be in the title of the game perhaps.

All the shots from the game did the rounds back in Oct / November. Even then the game was slated for a Spring release.
