Question

Finally, I have found the time to network my XBox to the PC (albeit using a X-over cable)

I've followed the FAQs from XBox Scene, but probably have missed something out

Please find below piccies of my IP setup on the XBox -

I've Ping'd the IP address and it has been successful.

But the problem is that when I try and map the network drive, I have grief, and it won't recognise the Xbox name or password.

What am I doing wrong, as this is pretty new to me......

What other questions do I need to answer before I get it working?

CHeers,

Dan

PS, I've also disabled the firewall to get the IP to be recognised

Dan,

What are you trying to do, transfer stuff to the X-Box or read files from the PC to play on the X-Box via XBMP?

Dan,

If you are wanting to transfer files to/from the X-Box you need to FTP the files over, copy and paste the link below into an Internet Explorer Window:-

ftp://xbox:xbox@192.168.0.3/

Well, I've just deleted the Map, and re-installed it, and it works

However, I'm left with an XBOX map and a new map with the IP address

I will start a new thread with my next question
